Publication Initial Assessment specific instance UNI Global Union vs VEON

The Dutch NCP accepted the case of UNI Global Union regarding an alleged violation of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises by VEON. The notification is regarding workers’ freedom of association at Banglalink Digital Communications Ltd. in Bangladesh.

VEON has not accepted the NCP’s good offices to facilitate a dialogue. The NCP will identify the steps to proceed with the examination. A final statement will be published after concluding the examination.
