The Evaluation of the Final Statement regarding the notification submitted by Obelle Concern Citizens regarding The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited and Royal Dutch Shell has been published on 16 December 2022. The notification concerned alleged non-observance of the OECD Guidelines with regard to alleged adverse impacts related to environmental contamination resulting from a gas fire eruption in 1998 in Nigeria. The Final Statement was published on 27 February 2020.
