Evaluation Final Statement by Milieudefensie/Friends of the Earth Netherlands, WALHI/Friends of the Earth Indonesia and SDI/Friends of the Earth Liberia versus ING

The Evaluation of the Final Statement concerning the notification by Milieudefensie/Friends of the Earth Netherlands, WALHI/Friends of the Earth Indonesia and SDI/Friends of the Earth Liberia versus ING was published on 13 July 2023.

The nofication concerned alleged non-observance of the OECD Guidelines in the field of human rights, environment and labour by the subsidiaries of ING’s clients in palmoil. The Final Statement was published on 7 April 2022.

Although parties did not succeed in following up jointly on the issues raised, as the NCP recommended, they did take action separately.
