Follow-up to the Final Statement regarding IUF et al vs APG Asset Management

The Follow-up to the Final Statement regarding the notification submitted by four trade unions (IUF, EFFAT-IUF, SEIU, UGT) regarding APG Asset Management has been published on 21 December 2023.

The notification concerned gender-based violence and harassment (GBVH) in the global operations of McDonalds Corporation and related due diligence by APG Asset Management as an institutional investor.

The Final Statement was published on 3 February 2023. Although parties did not succeed in following up jointly on the agreements and recommendations in the Final Statement due to a lack of communication, they did take action separately.
